Wines on Main

Sunday, October 25th, 2014

3:00p - 6:00p

Please join us at the 3rd Annual "Wines on Main" event in San Andreas.  This event will showcase many of the wonderful wineries, food vendors, and artists from Calaveras County who will provide samples of their wines, appetizers, desserts & art, of course. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at 39 N. Main Street, San Andreas or at the door on the day of the event. Call 754-5400 for more information.

Professional artists, community groups, and individuals are all encouraged to get creative and design an artistic chair to enter in this auction event.  See how much you can raise for Soroptimist International of Calaveras County and the Calaveras Arts Council. This fun event includes both a live and silent auction, dinner, drinks, and musical chairs, of course!  Tickets on sale soon.  Entry forms being accepted now.

Chairs for Charity Online Entry Form

Chairs is about transforming a chair, stool, bench or "a place to sit" into a work of art.  Professional artists and community groups receive 40% of the auction price.

Donations Accepted Any Time

Non profits are still operating in hard times. The Calaveras Arts Council is feeling the pinch due to downturn in contributions, donations, and memberships. You can help us support, nourish, and awaken the arts by making an end of year, tax deductible contribution. Click on "How to Donate" for more information. 

Donations do not have to be about money. 

If you have an unwanted office supplies, we can really use it. Also, donations can be about time too. If you have time to share, please consider volunteering at arts council events like Music in the Parks, Ovations, Gallery Calaveras, Home Concerts, Membership Dinners and more.

Make your regular trip to the market a contribution to the arts.
